About Us

Dave has been interested in photography for as long and as far back into his childhood as he can remember.....even pre box-brownie!!  He is now a professionally qualified and award winning photographer (New Zealand Institute of Professional Photographers) who has travelled widely throughout the world.  He now prefers to work in the country of his birth, capturing the magnificient scenery and the unique fauna and flora New Zealand has to offer.  During his time living abroad he studied and gained distinctions from both the Royal Photographic Society and the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.

Virginia was born in Kaikoura and spent much of her youth and many subsequent family holidays in the Marlborough Sounds, Blenheim, Nelson, Golden Bay and the Abel Tasman areas. Apart from much time spent raising the children and working as a full time nurse, she loves travelling, swimming, beaches, boating, gardening and reading.  All of these hobbies, together with a growing interest in photography and a love of New Zealand's native plants and scenery, add a different dimension to our postcards.

Dave is mainly responsible for the photography, sales and marketing, while Virginia’s background is ideally suited to the administration and account management of the business.   Together with necessary but spasmodic help from Laura (22) and Patrick (20) we make up a successful "family team".
